I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey and New York and board certified
diplomat by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work.
I completed a post-graduate certificate in gestalt therapy at the Gestalt Center for
Psychotherapy and Training in New York City in 2008 and published my final paper in an integrative psychotherapy journal in 2011. I’ve also done post-graduate training in
psychoanalysis, group therapy, and couples therapy.
I am a certified clinical supervisor and an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Social Work, where I’ve been teaching for the past four years. I am a member of the New Jersey Clinical Social Work Society, International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy, New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, and the National Association of Social Workers.
My philosophy to working with clients and supervisees emphasizes choice, creativity,
genuineness and humor as a means of coping with life’s challenges. True to my humanistic training, I believe that everyone has the ability to grow with the right conditions.
